This 6-day journey is designed for those who seek adventure wrapped in comfort, staying in centrally heated luxury rooms in Leh, while experiencing the unforgiving beauty of snowcovered passes, remote valleys, and the frozen blue vastness of Pangong Lake.
Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrive at Leh Airport by 11:00 AM. The cold bites, but the air is pure and the silence striking. Transfer to your centrally heated luxury hotel,offering comfort in the midst of snow-covered streets.
After rest and acclimatization, visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa—a snow-fringed dome perched above town, glowing golden at sunset.
In the evening, stroll through a near-empty Leh Market, where local cafés offer warmth, butter tea, and views of deserted alleys and mountain silhouettes.
Winter Vibe: The town breathes slower in winter. There’s no rush, no noise—just cold air, monastery chants in the distance, and your footsteps on fresh snow. (Dinner included)
Day 2
As one of the few groups exploring Ladakh in winter, you’ll experience the mystical silence of places like Sangam Point and Magnetic Hill — with no honking cars or lines of tourists. At Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, enjoy a peaceful langar served by soldiers and monks — not a sound but snow falling around you . (Breakfast+Dinner Included)
Day 3
You’ll likely have Khardung-La all to yourself, a rare privilege in peak seasons. The snowbound journey, while challenging, is entirely yours. Whether you reach Nubra or turn back due to weather, it’s not about the destination — it’s about experiencing roads few dare to take in winter. (Stay in Heated Guesthouse at Nubra) Breakfast + Dinner included.
Day 4
This is the crown jewel of the trip: a private moment on the frozen Pangong Lake. No vendors, no selfie crowds — just you, the wind, and the cracking sound of the frozen surface. As one of the pioneers of winter Pangong trips, we ensure maximum safety and unique access. Back to Leh in our Centrally heated room’s. (Breaktas + Dinner included)
Day 5
Drive through a landscape where time stands still no traffic, no chaos — just you and the ancient monasteries guarding the silence of winter Ladakh. Being one of the very few winter expeditions here, this day offers unmatched solitude and storytelling. Back to Leh & last day in Leh to explore the Cafe’s & Market. (Breakfast Included)
Day 6
As you fly out over a white sea of Himalayan peaks, you leave with memories only a few in the world will ever have. This wasn’t a trip — it was an intimate experience with winter Ladakh, untouched, unseen, and unforgettable.

Option 1: Direct Flight
Fly directly to Leh (IXL) from your respective city. Round-trip cost: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 (subject to availability and season)
Option 2: Budget-Friendly Option
Step 1: Travel from Mumbai to Delhi by train Recommended Train: 19019 Bandra Terminus – Haridwar Express This train arrives early at 2:35 AM in Delhi, giving you a comfortable buffer before your Delhi to Leh flight—even in case of delays.
Note: Avoid other trains during winter, as fog-related delays are common during winter season and may cause you to miss your connecting flight to Leh.
Step 2: Fly from Delhi to Leh Same return route: Leh → Delhi (Flight) → Mumbai (Train) Total Estimated Cost (Train + Flight, Round Trip): ₹9,000 – ₹13,000 approx.
IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTE: During winter, Leh is only accessible by flight, all roads are closed due to heavy snowfall.

Notes
1. Winter in Ladakh is beautiful — but it is also harsh, unpredictable, and unforgiving. By choosing to travel with Trekkers United during this extreme season, you acknowledge and accept the following conditions: Temperatures can drop to -25°C or lower, especially at high-altitude passes and remote regions.
2. Heavy snowfall, whiteouts, and blizzards may lead to sudden road closures, vehicle breakdowns, or route blockages. There is no guarantee that all planned sightseeing points (such as Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, or Lamayuru will be accessible due to weather or road conditions.
3. In the event of blocked routes, we may need to wait on the road (sometimes for several hours or more) until the pass is cleared. Return to Leh and stay there until further movement is possible. No alternate routes, no backup vehicles, and no substitute plans can be arranged during winter — as most villages, hotels, and services outside Leh remain closed.
4. No refunds, adjustments, or compensation will be provided for missed sightseeing, shortened itineraries, or time lost due to weather disruptions or any factors too.
5. Those booking with us or booking flights by themselves, we highly recommend you to choose the Refundable flights.
6. If there are at least 8 participants, a trip leader will accompany the group throughout the journey. Alternatively, if the number falls below 8, we’ll provide 24/7 online support, ensuring all bookings are taken care of, though a leader won’t be physically present. Update for the same will be given 1 week Prior to the trip. (Additional Charges applicable if there are less number of people)
7. Cancellation of the trip or of any location due to reasons out of our control like natural calamities/delay or man made incidents like strikes and change in state rules won’t be our responsibility. The participants will be liable to bear cost on any such incidents.
8. The company vehicle will only be responsible for travel from stay to the locations and back to our stays. Any travel beyond that will be chargeable if we are managing it for you all.
9. The trip offers basic facilities for food and accommodation, as leh in winter is an offbeat, rugged destination. Most of the Hotels/Cafe’s/Vehicle services remains close duing the winters, This journey is all about embracing adventure and the raw beauty of the region, so please do not expect luxury.
10. Any additional costs arising from illness, mountain sickness, hospitalization, vehicle or emergency situation shall be borne by the participant or their family.

Q1. What is the fitness level required for this Trip?
A. It is a backpacking trip but requires basic physical fitness as Ladakh region is in high altitude.
Q2. What is the age group in this trip?
A. Age group is 16 - 36yrs
Q3. I am a solo female wanting to Join, is it safe?
A.Yes we always have 25% Female Solo Travelers/Trekkers onboard & you will have an amazing experience.
Q4. When to Book this Trip?
A. If you are planning to join us from Mumbai, book it in advance whenever the flight rates drops or sale are announced we shall inform you to book the flight tickets.
Q5. What will be the daytime and night temperature?
A. During day time the temperature will be around 0 to 5 and during night it will fall down to -5° to -15°
Q6. What type of shoes are required?
A. Any shoes with good grips will work, no specific requirement of trekking shoes.

Q8. Are heaters provided?
A. Heater are provided in our Leh Hotel as it will be centrally heated premium hotel. (Depends on availablity).
Q9. Can all the places be covered in winter Ladakh?
A. Weather is very unpredictable in Ladakh region and if there is heavy snowfall then entire roads are blocked, winters are extreme in Ladakh so you have to well prepared for any worst case scenario’s (No Backup plans/vehicles are available)

Before 45 Days - 50% Refund on the Registration amount.
45 - 30 Days - No Refund on Registration
30 - 20 Days - 25% Refund on Full Amount
20 - 10 Days - 10% Refund on Full Amount
After 10 Days - No Refund
1. Cancellation charge is applied on total trip cost, not on any partial or token amounts. E.g. if you paid 10,000 for a 25000 trip, 2 months in advance and decide to cancel a trip less than 30 days before trip start date, the cancellation charge will be applied on 25000, not 10,000.
2. Full Payment of the trip cost must be completed 30 before the trip begins. Pending Payments may eventually lead to the cancellation of the trip.
3. None of the amount is transferrable to any other trip or treks & no credit notes will be given.
4. If the Trip is cancelled from our end, Minimal 7% amount will be deducted & for the remaining amount a Credit Note will be Provided to use on any other Treks & Trips (Cash refund wont be provided and cancellation due to reasons not in our control like natural calamity, man made incidents, govt policies etc or any other reason is not applicable here)
5. Cancellation due to reasons not in or control like natural calamity, man made incidents, War like situations etc or any other reason, 40% of total amount will be deducted & for the remaining amount a Credit Note will be Provided to use on any other Treks & Trips (Cash refund wont be provided)
6. In Case of Trip Extension due to Weather or any unforseen conditions, Indivdual will have to pay 2500/- Cash Per Day to the Trip Leader on Spot.
7. Itinerary/Entire location for Trip/Trek/Event is subject to change due to Weather Condition or any other reasons & it is Trekkers United’s Decision and not liable for any prior notice to participants. We value everyone’s safety over the Trip. No refund,Credit or transfer to other trip option shall be provided in such situation.

10. Sightseeing of all the places depends on various factors like weather, train delay, vehicle breakdown, punctuality of everyone, peak season rush & we or any of our team member will not be responsible.
11. Any additional expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances—such as changes in transportation, delays, route modifications, natural events, strikes, or other disruptions beyond our control—will need to be borne by the participants. While we will make every effort to arrange suitable alternatives and ensure minimal inconvenience, please note that such costs are not included in the original package and will be communicated separately, if applicable. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in such situations.
12. Travel /trekking involve inherent risks, including but not limited to natural calamities, health issues, accidents, injuries, or other unforeseen events. While Trekkers United will make every reasonable effort to provide assistance in such situations, we shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, injury, accident, damage, or death that may occur during the trip/trek. All participants travel at their own risk and responsibility, and are advised to ensure they are physically fit and adequately insured before joining any activity.
13. If Train tickets are in RAC/Waiting, there will be extra charge of 600 - 800/- per person & 90% guarantee of the confirmed Tatkal Tickets.
14. Mode of Transport like Train/Bus Etc can be changed depending upon the availiblity with change in time & boarding/dropping point depending on the availibility without any prior notice to Participants.
15. The photos/videos content created on Trekkers United’s trip (by our leaders) is the property of Trekkers United and can only be used by us for advertising across media platforms. None of the digital content can be used by anyone for advertising/commercialuse without obtaining the rightful permissions by Trekkers United.
16. The IDs shall all be verified before boarding. No boarding shall be entertained without avalid Govt. ID.
17. Travelers must take care of their luggage & belongings. The management shall not be responsible for any damage or any missing items along the tour.
18. Our time of departure is fixed and the travelers must depart by the stated time & keep their status updated with the trip coordinator(s). Anyone missing the transport shall not be eligible for any refunds.
19. In case of injury or illness during the tour, external evacuation or transport services may be required to ensure the participant’s safety. Any additional costs for such arrangements will need to be borne by the participant or their family. Please note, the Trip Captain will not accompany the participant during evacuation, as they are responsible for the rest of the group also. However, we will arrange for a reliable local person to assist. While Trekkers United will make every effort to coordinate necessary support, we do not take responsibility for the risks involved or the outcomes of thirdparty services. We strongly recommend that participants have appropriate travel and medical insurance.
20. Only one offer or credit can be used at a time; multiple offers or credits cannot be combined simultaneously.
21. Trekkers United can send back any Participants who is caught doing mischiefs,misbehaving with other members OR if you’re found doing illegal activity or breaking rules of the trek/trip and no refund or credit will be provided.
22. In any other Scenarios other then the above mentioned, Trekkers United has the sole right to alter/ Change/Make Decisions. We Value Everyone’s Safety over other things.
23. Some participants anticipate receiving a voucher/refund if they descend from a trek/trip for any reason. However, we do not provide vouchers in such cases. This situation arises if your trip leader decides to send you back due to reasons such as insufficient fitness, any other health issues, or injuries. It also applies if you are caught drinking, smoking, or violating rules, or if you voluntarily decide to quit for personal reasons.
24. If your entire group is compelled to terminate the trek/event after starting the trip for reasons such as sudden bad weather, trail interruptions, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances. Please note that no voucher/refund will be provided in this scenario.
